OUR STORY

Pfeka is founded by Eglet, a strong supporter of being authentic and true to self. Being a Zimbabwean and now Dutch living in The Netherlands, she has passion to wear a unique brand which merges the western fabric and the beautiful stories in the African prints and patterns. This unique type of clothes with a subtle touch of Africa is scarce in the market, and thus she created Pfeka. Her aim is to give everyday clothing value by embedding African prints, patterns, African heritage, nature making them valuable and sustainable and suitable for everyday wear.

Eglet in her own design, the design of the dress with one arm is inspired by mbuya neHanda, a powerful woman who fought colonialism in Zimbabwe in the 1800s and the fabric itself is inspired by the Great Zimbabwe, an iconic iron age city built of just stones in the 11th Century.
